I am a
European Board-certified Turkish specialist general surgeon and associate professor in general surgery.
My surgical phylosophy is surgery is not a one man show; it is team work. A dedicated multidisciplinary team should perform surgical management, primarily advanced care, according to patients’ needs. According to the principles I have devoted, managing a surgical patient requires up-to-date medical knowledge and prioritizing patients’ concerns, preferences, and needs.
I have extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery,
bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, endocrine surgery(with neuromonitorisation), benign anorectal surgery, minimally invasive hernia repair surgery, and breast surgery.
I am a National and European board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I hold DHA and DOH license. I am also highly interested in research; I have studied and published both clinical and experimental scientific studies.
